Appeal for Information: Help Identify Suspects in East Kilbride Assault Case
Authorities are currently searching for two suspects following a serious assault that left a 40-year-old man injured in East Kilbride. The incident occurred on Loch Shin around 6pm on June 3, during an altercation involving three men. The victim received medical treatment at a hospital following the assault. One of the suspects is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 10in tall, aged between 20 and 30, with a stocky build, short dark hair, and a beard. He was wearing a beige t-shirt. The second suspect is also a white male, around 5ft 7in tall, aged between 20 and 25, with a slim build, blonde hair, and dark clothing.
Detective Constable Meechan has urged anyone who may have seen a green Fiat motor vehicle in the area at the time of the incident to come forward with information. Individuals with dash cams or doorbell recording equipment are encouraged to review their footage, as it could provide valuable assistance to the investigation. Authorities are actively reviewing CCTV footage to gather additional details about the car and the suspects involved in the assault.
