Def Leppard's Casino Chronicles: Recording a Diverse New Album in Las Vegas

Def Leppard worked on their upcoming album while performing at a Las Vegas residency at a casino. The band set up a makeshift studio in the casino's basement on their days off to record new tracks. The first single from the album, "Rejoice," was released in January, with the full album expected to be out in early 2027. Frontman Joe Elliott mentioned that they have around 18 songs for the new project, offering a diverse mix of tunes. They are still actively recording and mixing the album, aiming to select the best 10 or 11 tracks for the final release. The band's new music is described as eclectic, featuring a range of styles from fast-paced to grandiose and bombastic. Def Leppard plans to finish the album by the end of the summer to prepare for an early release next year.
