Shania Twain Fans Show Unwavering Dedication at Thomond Park Concert

Country music sensation Shania Twain is set to perform at Thomond Park tonight, and dedicated fans are already lining up outside the venue. RTÉ Radio One’s Brenda Donohue caught up with some of Shania’s biggest fans who have been waiting since 11am. The fans are well-prepared with Shania Twain towels, stools, fans, snacks, Irish flags, and posters, all ready to show their excitement for the concert.

Amanda, the first person in the queue, shared her admiration for Shania, calling her an inspiration. She recalled how she learned English listening to Shania’s music and chose one of her songs as her future wedding song at the age of seven. Amanda, who battled breast cancer in 2018, expressed her gratitude to Shania for being a source of strength during her difficult times. She plans to make sure Shania sees her poster with a powerful message of resilience.

Best friends Michelle and Tríona, who bonded over their love for Shania on social media, have a dedicated “Shania fund” to finance their trips to her concerts worldwide. Aisling, another devoted fan, flew in from Toronto to attend the concert in Thomond. Together, the three women run a social media account called Irish Twainiacs, sharing their passion for Shania with fellow fans.

Mia and Ella, Aisling’s daughters, also admire Shania for her resilience and positive attitude. They see her as an inspirational role model who has overcome challenges and always comes back stronger. Despite their young age of 11, the girls appreciate Shania’s impact on their lives and look up to her as a source of inspiration.

The anticipation is high as Shania Twain’s fans eagerly await her performance at Thomond Park. The dedication and love shown by these super fans highlight the profound impact Shania has had on their lives, inspiring them to overcome challenges and celebrate the power of music and resilience.
