Following a successful stint at Richmond, Ellis transferred to James Madison, where he continued to excel as a top receiver in the Sun Belt conference. His standout performances earned him recognition as a Third Team All-Sun Belt selection, solidifying his status as a talented receiver.
After a successful season at James Madison, Ellis followed coach Bob Chesney to UCLA, reuniting with him in California. Ellis's addition to the Bruins' roster brings a much-needed boost to their receiving corps, as he is expected to play a pivotal role as the team's No. 1 receiver.
