Zendaya Makes Emmy History: A Look at Her Third Nomination for Euphoria
Zendaya has been nominated for her third Emmy award for her role in Euphoria's third season. Her character, Rue, played a central role in the series created by Sam Levinson. Zendaya made history by winning the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2020 at the age of 24, and then again in 2022 at the age of 26, becoming the youngest two-time winner in this category and the first Black woman to achieve this feat. With this new nomination, Zendaya has the opportunity to set a new record as the youngest and first Black three-time winner in the Lead Drama Actress category if she wins the award in September.
