Alien: Earth Season 2 Begins Production with New Cast Additions and Intriguing Plot Twists

The second season of FX's Alien: Earth has begun production in London, with Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell, and Jerome Flynn joining the cast. Spruell has previously worked with creator Noah Hawley on Fargo. The returning Season 1 cast includes Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, and more. Peter Dinklage is also set to join the cast for Season 2. The plot and character details for the new season are currently kept under wraps.

In Season 1, the USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, leading to a discovery that poses a significant threat to the planet. Set in the year 2120, Earth is controlled by five corporations, where cyborgs, synthetics, and hybrids coexist with humans. The introduction of hybrids by the Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation changes the game, leading to encounters with terrifying life forms.

Ullman, Spruell, and Flynn's roles in the series are yet to be revealed. Ullman is represented by CAA and Hamilton Hodell, Spruell by Lou Coulson Associates and Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Flynn by Curtis Brown and Gersh. The new season promises to bring more suspense and intrigue to the Alien: Earth series.
