Experience the Culinary Delights of Fife & Farro at Pullman Market: Pizza-Making Classes, Special Events, and More!

Josh Davis took a break from the food industry after years of working in restaurants and running his own establishment. However, he was drawn back into the kitchen when offered the position of chef de cuisine at Fife & Farro, located at Pullman Market. Alongside chefs de partie Bella Garcia and Luis Solano, Davis now teaches pizza-making classes to guests on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The classes cost $30 for adults and $20 for children under 12. Participants learn how to prepare and bake pizza in just 20 minutes, guided by the Fife & Farro team.
At Pullman Market, guests can enjoy various events throughout July, including Mariachi Nights at the Mezcalaria and happy hour specials on Thursdays. The Raw Bar offers $2 oysters all weekend, and fishmonger Jordan Silva hosts ceviche classes on Tuesdays. The Texas Anthology Dinner Series features collaborative dinners with guest chefs, such as Toby Archibald from Quarter Acre in Dallas. Two Step Tuesdays offer free country dance lessons, while the butcher team grills specialty items on weekends. Guacamole making and mezcal tasting classes are held regularly, and a special porchetta pizza event with Porc Slab is scheduled for July 30, with proceeds benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.
In the Fife & Farro kitchen, the wood-fired oven reaches 700 degrees, allowing pizzas to cook in just five minutes. Davis, who previously worked at Battalion, Il Sogno, and Bliss, finds joy in his current role at Pullman Market. He appreciates the fresh ingredients and homemade dough used in their dishes, and the positive feedback from guests. Teaching pizza-making classes and collaborating with other chefs have reinvigorated his passion for the culinary arts.
