Arizona Men's Basketball Players Shine in NBA Summer League Showcase

The NBA Summer League is currently taking place in Las Vegas, where six former Arizona men’s basketball players are showcasing their skills. Five members of the 2025-26 Arizona team are participating, along with San Antonio Spurs second-year forward Carter Bryant. Brayden Burries, the No. 10 overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks, and Koa Peat, the No. 30 pick by the Phoenix Suns, have already started their summer league journey. Jaden Bradley, drafted No. 50 by the Toronto Raptors, is on a one-year, two-way contract, while Tobe Awaka signed a similar deal with the Chicago Bulls as an undrafted free agent. Anthony Dell’Orso is competing for the Sacramento Kings on a summer league contract.

Bryant is honing his skills with the Spurs, where he averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in his rookie season. In his first Summer League game, Bryant faced some shooting challenges. The schedule for the Arizona players' games is as follows, all times in PST: Friday, July 10 - Milwaukee (Burries) vs. Miami at 1:00pm, Chicago (Awaka) vs. Memphis at 5:00pm, Toronto (Bradley) vs. Boston at 6:00pm, Phoenix (Peat) vs. Portland at 8:00pm. Saturday, July 11 - San Antonio (Bryant) vs. New York at 3:00pm, Toronto (Bradley) vs. Houston at 6:30pm. Sunday, July 12 - Phoenix (Peat) vs. New Orleans at 12:00pm, Sacramento (Dell’Orso) vs. Washington at 5:00pm, San Antonio (Bryant) vs. Milwaukee (Burries) at 6:00pm.

The Arizona players are eager to make an impact during the NBA Summer League and showcase their talents to the teams.
