Meet the Newest Chicago Bears Tight End: Sam Roush
The Chicago Bears have officially signed tight end Sam Roush, who was drafted by the team in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Roush played for Stanford from 2022 to 2025, appearing in 48 games and starting 34 of them at tight end. In his final season as team captain in 2025, Roush had a career-high 49 receptions and was named Second-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference. Throughout his college career, Roush accumulated 119 receptions for 1,201 yards and four receiving touchdowns. He also received prestigious awards like the Al Masters Award and the Tommy Vardell Award in 2025 for his athletic and academic achievements.
