Netflix Series 'The Secret of Secrets' Cast Updates: Morgan Spector and Rebecca Hall in Talks for Lead Roles
Morgan Spector is currently in talks to play the lead role of Robert Langdon in an upcoming Netflix series based on Dan Brown's book "The Secret of Secrets." Additionally, Rebecca Hall is in discussions for the female lead role in the show, which was greenlit by Netflix in May 2025. The series follows symbologist Robert Langdon as he races against ancient forces and time to save a missing scientist and her groundbreaking manuscript that could revolutionize humanity's understanding of the mind. The show is co-created and executive produced by Dan Brown and Carlton Cuse, with Cuse also serving as the showrunner. Emma Forman of Genre Arts is also an executive producer on the project. Spector is currently starring in HBO's "The Gilded Age" and would continue in that role if the Langdon show is picked up and "The Gilded Age" is renewed for a fifth season.
