The Serbian film "3 Weeks After" directed by Miroslav Terzić has been awarded the Europa Cinemas Label for the best European film at the 60th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). The jury of three Europa Cinemas Network exhibitors announced their selection on Saturday afternoon.

"3 Weeks After" delves into the theme of peer violence and will now benefit from the support of the Europa Cinemas Network, which includes additional promotion and incentives for exhibitors to prolong the film's screening period.

The jury praised the film for its captivating storytelling and authentic performances by the ensemble cast. The narrative, which focuses on the lives of adolescents, is portrayed through their own perspectives, creating a genuine and compelling viewing experience.

The film, which premiered in the main competition program of KVIFF 2026, was unanimously chosen by the jury for the Europa Cinemas Label. The jury members, each with their own tastes, were drawn to the film from the very beginning and commended its ability to hold their attention until the end.
