Discover Hong Sangsoo's Latest Masterpiece: Nowhere to Lay My Eyes
Hong Sangsoo, known for his film "What Does That Nature Say to You," is set to release his 34th and 35th features this year. The first of the two, "The Day She Returns," premiered at the Berlinale, while the second, "Nowhere to Lay My Eyes," is scheduled to debut at the Locarno Film Festival. The film stars Kim Min-hee, Choi Myung-gil, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Seok-ho, and Park Mi-so. The teaser for the film has been released, showcasing a runtime of 72 minutes.
In "Nowhere to Lay My Eyes," Kim Min-hee plays Sang-hee, a woman who embarks on a journey with her younger brother to Jeju Island to reunite with their mother after a decade. Hong Sangsoo takes on multiple roles in the film, serving as director, writer, cinematographer, producer, editor, composer, and sound designer. Fans can catch a glimpse of the film through the teaser and poster released for the upcoming premiere.
