2026 Daytime Emmy Nominations: Hosts and Actors in the Spotlight
The 2026 Daytime Emmy nominations have started rolling in, following the Primetime Emmy nominations. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for Daytime Talk Series Host and Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama. The full list of nominations will be revealed on Wednesday.
The nominees for Daytime Talk Series Host include Kelly Clarkson and Sherri Shepherd, whose shows will not be returning in the fall. ABC's General Hospital, which won the Drama Series award last year, is among the nominees for Outstanding Daytime Drama.
The Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on October 30 in Hollywood. The winners will be recognized for their exceptional talent and creativity in daytime television. The host for the event has not been announced yet.
