Dennis McKnight: The BC Lions' New Special Teams Coordinator with a Wealth of Experience

The BC Lions have appointed Dennis McKnight as their new special teams coordinator. McKnight, a Dallas native, brings more than 20 years of coaching experience in both professional and college football. He most recently held the position of special teams coordinator with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 2024-25. Prior to that, he served as the offensive line coach for the Tiger-Cats from 2018-19. He played 141 games from 1982-92, primarily with the San Diego Chargers, where he started 85 games over eight seasons. McKnight also had brief stints with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles.
