New York Rangers and Braden Schneider Reach Contract Agreement to Avoid Salary Arbitration

The New York Rangers have successfully settled with Braden Schneider, finalizing a one-year contract valued at $5.5 million to avoid a salary arbitration hearing. The hearing, which was set for July 29, has been averted thanks to the agreement. Throughout his NHL career, which has spanned 368 games, all with New York, Schneider has accumulated 20 goals and 67 assists. He was selected by the Rangers as the 20th overall pick in the 2020 draft.
