John Driskell Hopkins: Navigating Life with ALS and Inspiring Hope
John Driskell Hopkins, a member of the Zac Brown Band, revealed his ALS diagnosis in May 2022, just days after learning about it in December 2021. Despite the challenges posed by the disease, Hopkins remains determined to make the most of each day. He has been keeping busy with family vacations, studio work, and touring with the band. While his voice has been affected by ALS, Hopkins continues to perform on stage, adapting his playing to accommodate the changes in his voice.
As Hopkins navigates the progression of ALS, he remains hopeful that he can continue singing for as long as possible.
