School Bus Aide Accused of Inappropriate Behavior Towards Special Needs Student in Bensalem, Pennsylvania

A school bus aide in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, has been accused of inappropriate behavior towards a special needs student. Ali Khan, 62, faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and indecent assault. The incident came to light when the parents of a 14-year-old special needs student reported an incident involving their daughter and the school bus aide. Khan allegedly touched the girl inappropriately on multiple occasions while on the way to Bensalem High School's extended school year program. Surveillance footage from the school bus captured Khan touching the victim's leg and inner thigh area. He is also accused of using his phone to record the assault and take photos of the victim. Khan is currently in custody at the Bucks County Correctional facility on bail set at 10% of $500,000. The Bensalem Police Department is urging any other potential victims of Ali Khan to come forward. The safety and well-being of students remain a top priority for both the police department and the school district.
