UF Football Fall Camp 2026: New Roster Additions and Player Updates

Fall camp has begun in Gainesville, marking the start of practice for the UF football team. The coaching staff, including head coach Jon Sumrall and coordinators Buster Faulkner, Brad White, Johnathan Galante, and Rusty Whitt, will address the media ahead of the camp. Second-year players Jayden Woods and Dallas Wilson will also be present. The Gators recently updated their roster, revealing significant weight changes since spring camp.

The Gators have finalized their roster for the 2026 season, adding seven new players to the team. This includes transfers Jaylen Jordon and Javier Jones, as well as freshmen Mason Jordan, Stive-Bentley Keumajou-Yondui, Jayden Gross, Eric Parks Jr., and Lincoln Anderson. Keumajou-Yondui's reclassification to the 2026 cycle was a recent surprise, as he joined Florida from Miami (Fla.) Coral Gables High School. The 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive tackle chose Florida over other notable schools.

In a unique move to bolster tight end depth, UF secured the commitment of former Jacksonville University basketball player Jaylen Jordon in May. Despite not playing football since high school, Jordon showcased his potential during Florida's Pro Day in March. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 7/8, Jordon is now listed at 247 pounds. Another transfer addition, Javier Jones, comes to Florida as a redshirt sophomore after playing at Independence Community College in Kansas.

The Gators are gearing up for fall training camp with a revamped roster that includes new faces ready to make an impact on the team. The coaching staff and players are eager to hit the field and prepare for the upcoming season.
