Sony Pictures has unveiled the teaser trailer for "Insidious: Out of the Further," the sixth installment in the popular horror franchise. The film, written and directed by Jacob Chase, follows Gemma, played by Amelia Eve, a young mother who discovers she has the ability to travel into The Further, a realm of lost souls in the Insidious universe. When a malevolent force targets her, Gemma realizes she can bring entities from The Further into the real world, leading to terrifying consequences. Lin Shaye returns as Elise Rainier, with Brandon Perea also joining the cast. The film, co-written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Jacob Chase, continues the successful franchise that has grossed $740 million worldwide.
