Ralph Fiennes has been cast as President Snow in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel movie, Sunrise on the Reaping. Fiennes joins the cast as the third actor to portray the villainous character, following Donald Sutherland and Tom Blyth. Producer Nina Jacobson expressed excitement about working with Fiennes and honoring Sutherland's legacy. The film's director, Francis Lawrence, has been busy casting younger versions of Hunger Games characters, with recent additions including Jesse Plemons and Kelvin Harrison Jr. Production for the prequel is set to begin soon.
