A live-action film adaptation of the classic mecha anime Voltron has officially wrapped production, according to producer Bob Koplar. The film, based on the Japanese series Beast King GoLion and Kikou Kantai Dairugger XV, follows five young pilots whose vehicles combine to form the towering mech Voltron. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the movie features a star-studded cast including Henry Cavill, Sterling K. Brown, and Rita Ora. Thurber promises to stay true to the iconic elements of Voltron while introducing a new generation of pilots in the film. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this reimagined version of the beloved '80s series.
