Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus experienced a scorching show in Saudi Arabia, where the heat caused the pickups on his signature Gretsch guitar to melt. The wax used in the pickups oozed out, creating a grizzly sight. Despite efforts to mitigate the impact of the extreme temperatures, the heat was relentless, reaching melting point for the guitar's pickups. Fortus praised fans for a great time and shared his love for Gretsch guitars, designed for GNR live shows. The band has now concluded the hot leg of their tour and will head to Europe for more tolerable temperatures.
