The mariachi-inspired song comes from the lost album Inyo, written in the '90s during Springsteen's time in California. The album was inspired by corridos and Mexican history, with “Adelita” paying tribute to soldaderas from the Mexican Revolution. Tracks II will feature 82 songs recorded between 1983 and 2018, showcasing Springsteen's diverse musical styles. Despite recent controversies, including threats from Donald Trump, Springsteen remains focused on his music and activism.
