Drummer Frank Beard has returned to ZZ Top for their summer tour after resolving foot and ankle issues that led to a temporary leave of absence. The band's longtime drum tech, John Douglas, filled in during Beard's absence. ZZ Top members expressed excitement about Beard's return and are looking forward to rocking out with him on the Elevation Tour, which resumed in June and will continue through October across Canada and the U.S. Beard, who has been with the band for over 55 years, co-wrote hits like "Legs" and "Sharp Dressed Man."
