Jonathan Mayers, co-founder of Superfly Entertainment and creator of the Bonnaroo and Outside Lands music festivals, has passed away. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Mayers co-founded Superfly in 1996 and played a key role in launching Bonnaroo in 2002, followed by Vegoose Music Festival and Outside Lands. Despite his contributions to various events, Mayers' relationship with Superfly ended in 2021 when he was terminated and later sued his former partners, but the lawsuit was dismissed in January 2023.
