Coldplay performed 'Speed Of Sound' in full for the first time since 2016 during their 'Music Of The Spheres' tour in El Paso, Texas. Frontman Chris Martin expressed reluctance to play the song live, but decided to reclaim it by making it quicker and tighter. The band will continue their tour with stadium shows in August, donating 10% of proceeds to the Music Venue Trust. They also plan to release a musical and a final album called 'Coldplay' as part of their 12-album plan before retiring from music.
