The event raises funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and featured dancers from the musical revival Sunset Blvd., in which Scherzinger stars. Scherzinger's cast recording for Sunset Blvd: The Album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Cast Albums chart. The pop star, who won a Tony Award for her performance in Sunset Blvd., showcased her versatility by blending her musical theater work with her Pussycat Dolls legacy at the event. Sunset Blvd. is set to run on Broadway through July 6, 2025.
