Netflix has unveiled a trailer and images for their upcoming music competition series Building the Band, featuring the late Liam Payne. The show will include mentor Nicole Scherzinger, Kelly Rowland, and AJ McLean as host. Payne's family has given permission for his appearance in the series following his tragic death in October 2024. Premiering on July 9, the show will follow 50 musicians forming bands based on musical compatibility before meeting in person for the first time. New episodes will be released every Wednesday.
