The city of Pelham recently opened a new NHL Street Hockey court, providing hockey fans with a year-round place to enjoy the sport. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held, and dozens of kids were seen playing the street version of hockey on the court. The Birmingham Bulls mascot Toro the Bull also made an appearance to join in the fun. The city mentioned that this is the second year of their street hockey league play, with the Birmingham Bulls' home ice located at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena.
