The scammer posing as Bryan asked for the man's savings account information, which he provided, thinking he would receive $300. Instead, the scammer took $600 from his account. In a separate incident, a woman in northwest Lancaster County was tricked into putting $30,000 into cryptocurrency ATMs after receiving a fake email from PayPal. The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office warned residents to be cautious of such scams.
