ABC has officially ordered a reboot of the popular hospital comedy "Scrubs" for the 2025-2026 season. Original cast members Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke are set to return, with more expected to join. The new series will focus on the enduring bromance between JD and Turk as they navigate the changes in medicine and at Sacred Heart Hospital. The show will be executive produced by Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra, with Braff, Faison, and Chalke also serving as executive producers. ABC's comedy lineup for the upcoming season includes "Abbot Elementary," "Shifting Gears," and the spinoff "9-1-1: Nashville."
