Black Sabbath has officially retired, but individual members are not done with music. Ozzy Osbourne is open to recording new music and is working on a new autobiography. Tony Iommi is working on a solo album and collaborating with various vocalists. Geezer Butler is writing music for personal enjoyment, with no plans for release. Drummer Bill Ward has seven unreleased albums and is working on finishing two of them, aiming for a physical release. Ward's new music is described as heartfelt and soulful.
