Country music superstar Kenny Chesney has had 20 of his songs certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with some earning their first honors and others advancing to multi-platinum status. The RIAA certified that Chesney has moved a total of 16 million singles in the U.S., including both pure purchases and streaming activity. Three of Chesney's tracks received their first gold certifications, while five songs jumped from gold to platinum status. Additionally, 12 compositions added new platinum certifications, with some tracks doubling from platinum to double platinum and beyond. Two of Chesney's albums, "The Road and the Radio" and "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," also received new certifications from the RIAA, with the latter advancing to five-times platinum status.
