Country music star Parker McCollum has released his self-titled fifth album, showcasing a new level of focus and self-assurance. The album was recorded in just a week in New York with producer Frank Liddell, after scrapping half of the original recordings. McCollum's experimentation with his sound led to a mix of country and other influences on the album, with a cover of Danny O'Keefe's "Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues" featuring Cody Johnson. Despite the emotional grind of the recording process, McCollum is determined to create music that resonates with his fans and makes them feel something.
