Andrew James McGann, 28, of Springdale, Arkansas, has been arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder for the stabbing deaths of Clinton and Cristen Brink at Devil's Den State Park. McGann, a teacher candidate for Springdale Public Schools, was denied bond and assigned a public defender. Law enforcement believes he did not know the victims and the motive for the attack is unclear. McGann was apprehended at a local salon during a haircut, and evidence from the crime scene was found in his vehicle. If convicted, he could face the death penalty in Arkansas, which currently has 23 people on death row.
